Thanks to everyone who left feedback

A lot of what is in the game today did not come from my desk. It came from feedback, bug reports and well-argued criticism. Anyone who takes that time is building this game too. Thank you.

Frequently asked questions

What is Whistle1?

Whistle1 is a retro football manager in the style of the 90s. A classic soccer management game for fans of nostalgia and old-school gameplay, built as an indie game in Thuringia, Germany.

Is Whistle1 free?

Yes. You can reach the career goal without paying a cent: ten years as a manager, all fifteen countries, every league and cup, plus your entry in the global leaderboard at the end of the career. Nothing of that is time limited.

The shop holds extras and additional features: carrying the career beyond the ten years, the database editor, your own player, boosts for training, stadium and finances, and removing the ads from the Google Play build.

Which platforms does it run on?

Whistle1 is available as an Android game, PC game (Windows), Linux game, Steam game, browser game and on itch.io. It also plays offline.

Is this an alternative to the old manager classics?

Whistle1 is inspired by the football manager games of the 90s. It is a modern management sim with the feel of the originals: readable numbers, quick seasons, no spreadsheet fatigue.

Which languages are supported?

The game ships in 48 languages. It runs under three brands: Anpfiff1 (German), Whistle1 (English) and Düdük1 (Turkish).

What can I do in Whistle1?

Manage your club in 15 countries (Germany, England, Turkey, Italy, France, Spain, Brazil, Argentina, Netherlands, Portugal, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, Poland) through league, cup, super cup and the continental cups with group stage and knockout rounds. Features: career mode across 10 seasons, tactics & line-up, transfers, training, stadium expansion, press conferences, sponsors, a database editor for your own countries and the global high score leaderboard.

Who makes Whistle1?
